Will I have to pay anything out of pocket?
Under Oregon workers’ compensation laws, you do not pay copays, deductibles, or surprise balance bills for treatment of an accepted work-related dental injury. We bill your insurance carrier directly according to state-mandated fee schedules.
What if I don’t have a claim number yet?
If your injury occurred today or recently and you haven’t received a claim number from the insurer yet, you can still be seen! Bring your employer’s company information, your supervisor’s contact info, and the date/time of the incident. We will help initiate contact with the insurer.
Can I see Mountainside Family Dentistry instead of the company clinic?
Yes. In Oregon, injured workers have the legal right to choose their attending dental provider. You are not required to go to an urgent care or occupational health clinic for teeth injuries when specialized dental care is needed.
Can I schedule follow-up appointments outside my work shift?
Absolutely. Mountainside Family Dentistry operates 66 hours per week — open early from 7:00 AM, late until 7:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You won’t have to miss additional work to finish your dental treatment.
